We will start our tour through the modern residential districts of Miraflores and San Isidro. We will visit the financial center, the Golf, the Olivar, the Huaca Pucllana (the pre-Inca ceremonial temple in the shape of a pyramid) and the Parque del Amor on the Malecón de Miraflores. Continuing with our tour, we will go to the Historic Center of Lima, we will visit the Plaza San Martin, its balconies and old houses, the Plaza Mayor with its most important buildings and finally we will enter one of the most important convents of the 17th century. A complete tour with the comfort and attention of a modern tourist service.
After breakfast at the hotel, we will transfer you to the Lima airport, there you will check-in and take the flight to the city of Cusco. Upon arrival at the airport, we will be waiting for you with a sign with your name on it, we will transfer you to the selected hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel you can taste the famous coca tea. This plant has properties that will help the body against altitude sickness. Then you can rest and acclimatize a bit at the hotel or if you want to go for a gentle walk through the main streets of the city. At around 1:30 min we will pick you up from the hotel to start the tour to the city of Cusco and surroundings. The excursion includes a visit to the Plaza de Armas, Cusco Cathedral, Santo Domingo Church, Coricancha Temple and the nearby ruins of Q’enqo, Puka Pukara, Tambomachay and the Sacsayhuaman fortress ending at approximately 7:00 p.m.
After having a good breakfast, we will pick you up from the hotel and transfer to the Cusco train station, to start the excursion to Machupicchu, the Lost City of the Incas. We will have a trip of approximately 4 hours, until we reach the tourist town of Aguas Calientes, from there we will take the bus and in half an hour we will arrive at the citadel of Machupicchu. Then with our guide we will tour the Inca city between 2 to 3 hours. Then we will have time to go down to Aguas Calientes and have lunch. In the afternoon, we will take the train back to Cusco. Upon arrival, as always, our staff will wait for you and take you to the hotel to rest.
On the fourth day, we will take the tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will start at 8 in the morning to pick up the passengers from their respective hotels, to go to the Pisac market, a famous craft fair. We will visit the archaeological complex of Pisac, and then go to Urubamba, where we will enjoy a buffet lunch. At the end we will go to the Ollantaytambo Fortress. This province is the last living Inca city, among its inhabitants are true Inca descendants. Finally, we will go to Chinchero, an archaeological group with Spanish and Inca constructions. After picking you up from the hotel, we will go to the bus station, which will take us on an excursion of approximately 8 hours, divided into 4 tours with a guide. They will show us the places of greatest interest in this area called the South Altiplanic Corridor. We will visit the Andahuaylillas temple, known as the Sistine Chapel of America and Racchi Temple. At noon, we will have a buffet lunch in the city of Sicuani, from where we will continue until we reach Paso de La Raya, at 4335 masl, passing by the Inca Aimara de Pucará Museum. Each visit will last from 20 to 40 minutes, where the passenger will be able to ask questions, take photos and walk around a bit, enjoying a pleasant excursion. We will pick you up at the hotel, and then we will go to the Port of Puno (Lake Titicaca), where we will visit the Uros Floating Islands, for 45 minutes we will appreciate the customs of this beautiful island and its inhabitants. Then we will visit the Island of Taquile, returning by boat to the Port of Puno. Our staff will wait for you and take you to your respective hotel to rest. In the morning, after the respective breakfast at the hotel, you will be able to tour the center of the city of Puno. In order to coordinate better, the night before we will agree on a suitable time to pick you up from the hotel and move to visit the Chullpas de Sillustani. A set of pre-Inca funerary towers. They are huge buildings, measuring approximately 12 meters high. At the end of our tour, we will go to the Juliaca airport to check-in the respective ticket to fly to the capital of Peru, Lima.
