The day of your arrival at the Cusco airport, we will be waiting for you showing a sign with your name to immediately transfer you to the hotel of your choice. Upon arrival at the hotel you can taste the famous coca tea, this plant has properties that will help your body against altitude sickness, then you can rest and acclimatize a bit in the hotel or if you wish, you could go for a gentle walk through the main streets of the city. By averaging 1:00 p.m. We will pick you up from the hotel to start the tour to the city of Cusco and its surroundings.
This excursion includes a visit to the Plaza de Armas, Cusco Cathedral, Santo Domingo Church, Coricancha Temple and the nearby ruins of Q’enqo, Puka Pukara, Tambomachay and the Sacsayhuaman fortress.

Sacsayhuaman
Located 3 km. from the city of Cusco, this impressive fortress of monumental stones and excellent architecture, is famous for its enormous carved stones, some of which are 9 m or 30 feet high and weigh more than 350 tons. In the esplanade of this enclosure, is where the Inti Raymi or “Fiesta del Sol” takes place.

This day we will do the tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas that will start at 8:00 in the morning. We will pick you up to go to Pisac, a typical market, with picturesque cultivated terraces on the mountain. We will visit the archaeological group of Pisac, famous for its fairs, where you can buy beautiful handicrafts. Then we will go to Urubamba where we will taste a buffet lunch. Then we will go to the Ollantaytambo fortress, current place of descendants of the Incas who live in the house of their ancestors. Finally we will go to the Ollantaytambo train station, to board the train that leaves at 4:40 p.m. to Aguas Calientes and we will arrive at an average of 6:10 p.m. We will spend the night in a selected hotel in Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu).
After getting up very early and having breakfast, we will go up to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu.
Optional
You can do the trekking to the summit of Huaynapicchu or mountain sector. This will take you a few hours (This visit is without a guide). Then you will make an excursion with our guide through the citadel of Machu Picchu, visiting the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the royal quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows and the cemeteries, for approximately more than two hours. They will have free time in Machu Picchu to take photos and enjoy this mystical place. Then we will go down by bus to Aguas Calientes and in the afternoon we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our staff will be waiting for you and to transport you by bus to the city of Cusco.
Having a good breakfast, we will pick you up from the hotel where you are staying and take you to the airport of the city of Cusco, which is a few minutes from the city center. We must be at least one hour before to make the flight confirmation procedures, after checking-in with the airline that we will fly and pay the airport tax, we will say goodbye and take the flight from Cusco to Lima.
